i have recently switched from dial up to broadband, but the auto disconect window keeps coming up, this pretty anoying as i leave my computer on most of the time when im out of the room. so when i go to use it again ive got to reconect and log back on why is this

Right Click Internet Explorer Icon
left click Connections, left click Settings, left click Advanced.
Clear tick in box - Disconnect if idle for ---
Cick top 'OK'
Click next to bottom 'OK'
Click bottom 'OK'
And away you go

It might be that you are on dial up. If this is so it will boot you off without prior warning or reason. Talk to your internet provider maybe they can help.

You are looking for auto-disconnect is connection is no longer in use.
