The lake is 2120 m long and 1380 m wide, its maximum depth being 30.6 meters. The lake is situated in a picturesque environment, surrounded by mountains and forests. A medieval castle stands above the lake on the north shore. That is why some call it the Church lake. I`m not sure when was the church built.

The path around the lake is approximately 6 km long and takes a good hour. Along the way you will be able to see a part of the city shopping centre, Spa Park, Castle spa, parks, hotels, restaurants etc.

The lake, which is tectonic in nature, was formed when the Bohinj glacier receded. It is 2,120 m long, 1,380 m wide and up to 30.6 m deep. A person of your obvious intelligence and education should be able to calculate the circumference based on those figures.
