what is this AOL and how it works?

AOL is just another Internet service provider and I do not recommend them. Everyone I know who has them says it stands for Always OFF Line.

AOL is american online, this can be used similar to yahoo instant messenger, you can download the same from the AOL website

DON'T USE AOL.
Their tech support is in India and you will be subject to 'their' contracts. Don't let em stick ya! AOL sucks
