i have 4 one insists on going on the inside of filter , like its stuck, think hes dying, they all have this greyish film like stuff on them, what could the trouble be, will i lose more, help

try doing a gravel vacuum and change about 1/3 of the water and they should look better. that is usually their slime coat getting thick because they need cleaner water. you should do a gravel vacuum and change at least 1/4 of the water every week.

He either has fungus, columnaris, or velvet. These diseases are fatal if not treated and very contagious. You should seperate him and treat with antibiotics like maracyn plus.

when fish get strested they turn a lighter color.
