The best indian team going for the World Cup after the 1983 Presidential Cup. India has found good openers in Ganguly and Uthappa, with Sehwag in there too. Yuvraj, Dravid, Dhoni and Tendulkar steady the middle order to form one of the best middle order batting. Lower middle order of Kumble, Harbhajan, Zaheer can hit a few runs too.
As on bowling - Zaheer and Sreesanth/Munaf Patel will be opening and are not as bad. Kumble, Harbhajan and Sachin - Sehwag can bowl many spin overs between them. That leaves one guy extra. He can be employed as a strike bowler - Irfan/Sreesanth or Dinesh Kaarthick as the 11th guy. Irfan can bat as well.
It is a very powerful batting line-up, and make take a beating on their bowling lineup.
Quality Fielders are in plenty - Yuvraj, Uthappa, Sachin, Kaarthick. Fielders like Munaf Patel will have to be hided on the field.
There are all winning chances for India. India will reach the semi-finals for sure.

Well friend,i don't know what you mean by India always losing the world cup.For your information India has won the world cup in 1983.Also India were runners up in the world cup of 2003.Besides India entered the semifinals of the world cups of 1987 and 1996.Not that bad an achievement, being semi finalists or above on four occasions out of a total of only nine world cups of cricket held up till now.Probably you love your cricket team or your country too much and want it to win every time. That is easier said than done.Even Australia who no doubt are a fitter and a better team won't be able to do that. You have to remember that cricket is after all a sport only and win or loss is a matter of chance.More so in one day cricket, win or loss depends on that particular days performance alone. You will do well to appreciate in this context that like you can have a bad day in office or college, similarly your cricketers too can have such bad days.Remember that your cricketers too are human.

Yes,as individually they are well players and have lot of records, but when playing as a team?,they don't have Team Spirit, they don't fighting until the end of the match, they are quickly satisfied with a small wins ,they feel it will be enough and they don't continue the efforts to the next important matches(like last world cup).As an Indian i wish India to get the world cup,but as a cricket fan my open ion one of the following will get:Australia,South Africa,Sri Lanka

Indian side for world cup cricket 2007 is balanced side. They have perform consistently in the both batting and bowling.Pace bowlers have a vital job to do. If every thing is OK, India can defeat any team except Australia. Chance is 40-60.

India is not a powerful team. They couldn't even win yesterday's easy match against Sri lanka. If they fix it like they did with the W.Indies, may be they can win...though, it might cost them a fortune.

cannot be decided now
Any underdog can make it
It is all how they play on that time, situation, team jubiliation atmosphere, a motivation to win and ready to play for the country alone counts.
Let us not bet on individuals and say they will help to win
Let us wait and watch
Presently, The indian team has a good winning chance for signing many ads at that time
