I have a 1GB RAM chip installed. I think its 667MHz. Is there any software that'll verify that for me? I have a Core 2 Duo E6300 processor and an Asus P5B motherboard.

Everest is the name of the program that will tell you ALL you want to know about your PC.

This program should tell you:http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php remember this program gives you the actual frequency, before the double pumping. So for your RAM it should register at 333Mhz.
