If they were to make a new series of blackadder, what era do you think it would be set in? also would there be any new actors for parts? What mischief could Blackadder cause?

We need a plan.... a cunning plan...

Thinking back over all the other bril storylines I reckon it should be in Victorian England, I would love to see the actress who played Queenie, come back as Victoria and see how Blackadder and Baldrick cope with that oh so serious era of history... Or maybe go back to Roman times he could be a cowardly centurion or gladiator with Baldrick as his slave...

How about a Blackadder/ Startrek hybrid, set on a spaceship or station somewhere out there in the cold darkness of a faraway planet?

You could even bring back The Queen as Captain and Melchet as her 1st Officer plus Baldric could be the incredibly bad chef that considering they've got machines that make what you want, noone knows why he's there?

There was talk of one being set in the 60's in London. With Blackadder as the lead singer of a band and baldrick being named bald-rick as the drummer. Tony Robinson told us about that when I saw him on stage in Felixstowe. It ain;t likely to happen though.

You could set it pretty much any time you wanted. Second World War with Blackadder as a "spiv" and Baldric his hapless sidekick?

They did a special short (for comic releif?) where he was a roundhead or cavalier, that was quite good and everyone thought they'd do a full series of that.

I'd like to see him in modern day britain maybe as a politician, but that'd be too close to the new statesman

I would have to say they would be in modern times. They would be bumbling idiots in the heat of the Iraqi war. Then the government would feel that it was hitting a little too close to reality and the show would get cancelled.

My mom loves that show, maybe they should bring it into the modern times.
