even if you don't have periods of elation, your racing thoughts could still indicate bi-polar, which is what tegretol treats. there's something called 'hypomania'. it's a lower grade than full-throttle manic phases you hear about...i am much the same way; i'm diagnosed major depressive disorder, and thru my own research i've learned i fit a profile for something called "double depression". this is someone with symptoms of both major depressive disorder, which by definition cannot last indefinitely, and dysthymia, a chronic, mild depression. but, ultimately, i'm convinced, in my own grandiose way, that an accurate diagnosis for what is really wrong with me does not yet exist.

It became great! i'm excited to be a wrestling fan. WWE has lacked any opposition for years and their product has been sub par. I watched TNA hoping for this and now it has befell. with any luck TNA nor WWE make the comparable blunders as WCW and this opposition lasts for an prolonged time. it incredibly is going to hold approximately greater effective entertainment for us as fains

Derek; I´ve read a lot of your questions and know more or less about your problems...
1. NEVER decide on your own to stop taking medication!!!
Always consult your psychiatrist first. I´ve been on medication for almost 10 years and tried several times to stop taking them, but it never worked out....
2 Are you in therapy??? It seems that you´ve have got a lot of unsolved issues, like the bullying at high school and the sex abuse..these are very serious issues that need to be dealt with and have caused your self esteem to be so low...
Medication can be great, but it seems not to be enough in your case...
3.Don´t think emigration is the answer to all your problems, I left my country as well, but took my problems with me....first work out the biggest issues...and realise that in the UK at least you´ve got your parents...(and a good social care system)
4. Start talking about your problems with the girl from Canada, just little by little and see how she reacts....it´s great that you´ve found something you are so enthousiastic about, but it might destroy you if things don´t work out...try to see her only as a good friend and not as the solution to your lonilyness...like someone said, the fact that you´ve been able to stay in touch with someone on the internet for 2 years, shows that at least you´re a good writer...and you must have something to offer..maybe you come accross as very caring, sensitive, intelligent, funny...
5.Try to be grateful for what you do have, in every question you mention you live in a small flat, but at least you´ve got a own place...you´re lucky to have been born in the UK, in many other countries many people of your age or older are forced to live with their parents, live in students flats and what about the homeless..do you ever think about them??? their situation is much worse than yours...force yourself every day to write down at least 3 things you´re grateful for that happened that day (a sunny day, a good breakfast, a nice e-mail, a good movie etc)
6.Take one thing at the time,it´s impossible to solve all your problems at the same time...what about starting having a pet like a dog??? they are great company and will force you to leave to house and they say it is a great way to meet people, even though you might only have dog-related chats, at least you´re interacting with other people...or maybe you´d enjoy riding a horse??? another way to be outside more and to meet people...
7. Why don´t you try to help others??? They say it is the best therapy ever!! What about helping at a homeless shelter,be the buddy of AIDS-patients, be a clown in hospitals for children, visit eldery people etc, you´ll be highly appreciated at all those places and your self esteem will grow...
8.What about taking workshops like "how to be more assertive",
and likewise, there must be many in the UK?
9 Find a way to relax and take your mind of your problems, for some it might be exercising (swimming is great !)for others painting (the results don´t count!), reading, cooking, learning a new language, writing, listening to music or playing an instrument...there must be something you enjoy doing....I understand the atraction of the internet, but try to limit the hours....there´s real world besides the virtual one!!
10.I am not a doctor, just someone who feels identified with you feeling worthless and hopeless....well, not anymore actually, I have overcome my problems and so can you....in some of your questions you ask if 29 is too old to change your life..you might have missed out a lot on life, but just keep in mind that you probably have got another 50 year ahead of you!!! I sincerely hope that you´ll find happyness....I will keep on reading your questions because I want to hear you´re doing better and not taking some action...in fact I want you to promise me...you´ll do better!!! I am no psychiatrist and have no insight in your mental problems but there must be a solution for you as well!! don´t give up hope and if the doctors don´t help you well enough, keep on looking till you´ve found a good one!!!! GOOD LUCK!! and feel free to mail me at bambam_rabbit@hotmail.com TAKE CARE AND MAKE TE BEST OF TODAY!!! keep us updated!!!
