what music do you like?

Celtic, world beat, big band, classical, pop, Latin, folk both old and new, blues with oomph, chick stuff, oldies but goodies, Motown, 50's, Roy Orbison, Robbie Robertson, Daniel Lanois, Enigma, U2, Sarah McLaughlin, Loreena McKennitt, Music of the Middle East, the violins of the gypsies, bagpipes in small amounts, bluegrass, light operetta such as The Phantom, om Petty, Traveling WIlburys, Prince, folk of the 50's and 60's. Basically I like anything with harmony and musical ability. Think I touched the tip of the iceberg.

I am with you Fruit Cake Lady. Remember Fats Domino? How about Richie Valens or the Big Bopper? Or Ray Charles when he was still hot n new? or the amazing harmonies of the Mommas and Pappas? Crosby Stills Nash n Young. sheesh... look what you started!

Dance, house and dum n bass mainly but i like a bit off everything really. The only type of music im not too keen on is R&B.

it's hard to say for sure,because my tastes are eclectic,
it depends on my mood.if i want to relax,classical.if i'm stressed,
heavy metal.if i'm in a happy mood,Beatles.if i'm trying to get in a romantic mood,jazz or blues.if i want to dance,60's or 70's rock.
if i feel spiritual,Indian raga music.if i just want to escape the real
world,i go to the lake or river and listen to the waves splashing on
the shore.
