Dear freind their is no particular defination for automated elections. Automated elections means the elections where EVM's - Electronic Voting Machines are used. The benefits of this type of elections is that any one can change, do wrong to the common ballot box, but one a vote is sealed in the EVM no one can change or harm your count. It is necessary to have a good and clean elections. It is because of this type of elections Leader like Lallu Prasad lost in Bihar after ruling in Bihar for more than 15 years.

Automated election is conducted through computers where people cast their vote on machines instead of paper ballots. The counting of votes is fast and the results are announced within a short period of time.
