The Trango Towers are cliffs/pikes. They must be eroded.
Wind erosion bring hoodoos to deserts. It could be that.
However, they are found near glaciers. It could be eroded by glaciers.

According to Wikipedia they are between two glaciers, which would be what cut them as a range, and then turning them into spires would be the freezing weathering
Usually wind erosion works on sedimentary rock not igneous which is what granite is (too hard for the wind to do much)
