To loose 5-10 kgs. you must be disciplined enough to follow regularly diet of exercise and sensible eating. The fact that you
are overweight means according to ayurveda you are Kapha
prakriti (i.e. your metabolism is sluggish and lethargic). Still whether it is genetic inheritance or metabolic disorder fault can be
traced to faulty eating. As per ayurveda you must avoid eating sweet sour and salty food which means no chocolates, no pickles and french fries etc., you must concentrate on eating more of bitter, pungent and astringent food. In natural diet you must scruplously avoid bananas, mangoes, sapota etc., which
are sweet in nature. Instead go for more of apples, pomegranates and pears. Amongst cereals go for corn, barley
etc. amongst vegetables avoid carrot and beetroot and go for
bitter gourd, fenugreek as well as spinach. Now four most important points in dieting is 1. what you eat. 2. when you eat.
3.how you eat and 4.how much you eat.
1. What you eat should be satvik food. According to late Dr. Swami Gitananda of Ananda Ashram, Pondicherry, India - anything cooked is not satvik atleast temporarily stick to diet of
fruits, vegetables and sprouts.
2. When you eat should be only when you are hungry. Difference
between hunger and craving is that when you are ready to eat
three days old stale bread i.e. hunger and when you refuse to eat
something which is not of your choice i.e. craving.
3. How you eat should be "eat liquid and drink solid" i.e. you
masticate solid food thoroughly so it forms a paste almost liquid
like and Liquids should be sipped - don't gulp it down.
4. How much you eat - when you follow above three rules
automatically the wind will rise like a burp which is a signal to
stop eating. A feeling of satiety is experienced which comes they
say because hypothalamus is satisfied.
Now comes the exercise part. Just simple walking of about 4
kilometers daily is sufficient in the morning. If you find time in the
evening repeat it . That's all. Report on this site after 90 days.

if u want to lose weight,dun eat too much fast food,food that is too salty and sweet and oily..
try to exercise every morning or go gyms.
dun eat too much meat..eat more vegatable,fruit.. but dun try for diet pills..it might harm u.
