Unless your doctor is trying to decide whether or not to give you certain medications due to possible complications with pregnancy, then no, he shouldn't ask you and you shouldn't answer. It is normal for your doctor to ask when you had your last period which should answer the question at hand....especially if you're on the pill. He's way outta line.

Sometimes it's neccessary to know in case one of the treatments or diagnostic tests/exams would be damaging to an unborn baby, sometimes it's just a little bit of the bigger picture. Sex has been clinically linked to good health and other numerous benefits physically and mentally/emotionally. Trust your doctor....unless of course he's maybe just a giant pervert, right?

Certainly you must answer this question. Remember the doctor only has your best interest in mind so do everything the nice doctor tells you to do. I'm sure you are exaggerating & it only SEEMS that the doctor always asks you. It's your imagination babe. No doubt you are a s__t/ tramp or your self consciousness & worthless self esteem would not haunt you about this innocent question.

depends on what you consulted the doc for. if about pregnancy then yes. because egg cells has a 48 hour lifespan while in the uterus and sperms has 72 hours lifespan. if you're talking infection possibility then bacterias and virus causing infections have incubation period in which during this time you'll be asymptomatic for a while and the incubation period is done, you'll have the symptoms. incubation period is counted from the day you've had sex. for examply hepa B has 1-2months incubation period so if you had sex 1-2months ago then you may have hepa B. i understand that getting a check-up with a gynecologist could be uncomfortable but they will definitely ask you of data relevant for them to make a diagnosis.

NO! That is a violation of privacy! Now if they see something wrong by your vagina, yes mabye, but next time ask them why?? Is your doctor a boy? If so that is so wrong, unless there, again, is a problem

Doctors have a unique way of assessing their patients' medical condition. We can not say why they ask this question. You have two options, ask them why they ask this question or get away with it by giving an answer.

No, I can't imagine any case where they would need to ask you this, especially ALL the time.Your doctor sounds like a sleaze. Switch GP's & report him!

Depends on what you are seeing the doctor for. If its related to women's health related issues, well, there are statistical data that leads to various predictions.
