Often, I like to remind them how intrinsically good the American people are. And that we are not great because of our politicians or their policies, we are not great because of our corporations and our wealth - we are great because we are industrious, innovative, loyal, optimistic and have great aspirations not just for ourselves but for the whole of mankind.
People who have never spent time in the US do not appreciate our most valuable asset - the American people.

No, we don't have to explain our country to anybody. We don't have to give any datelines either when it comes to the military and when and what it will do next or when it will leave. Nothing like helping the enemy, right? They all pretty much hate us, or at least it seems that way. We stand alone and we should be showing a united front against ANYBODY who thinks they are going to harm us, our families, fellow Americans, or any of our institutions, and get away with it.. You don't like it? Too bad, we'll not only survive, but get stronger, and hopefully the next time any of these countries need us to pull their rear ends out of the fire we will remember all the hate and criticism they aimed at us before we are so quick to help them.

We often stand alone as the UNITED STATES, many in the world wish us harm, I live in NY and I am so proud of the way that every town, city, little village rushed to our aid on 911, it made me very proud to be from America, and to be American. There is NOT an American in this country that did NOT have a relative, or they themselves served in the armed forces. There is a very loose Liberal movement going on now in this country, we seem to like to take the "SOFT APPROACH" and blame ourselves, and critisize the administrations. We have to pull together NOT APART, we have been in some VERY desperate times before, many have died protecting our freedom, our way of life, the things we love, and our beliefs, and family's. This is a GREAT COUNTRY, it's NOT perfect but, IT"S BETTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. I too wish that we would stop the in house bickering, and get to the problem, and "NEUTRALIZE IT" before the life we know, no longer exists !

Everyone is cheering for our fall, let's face it. Even our "allies" are secretly hoping we fall on our face. People complain about our influence and then ask for our aid.
They say that Iraq was an illegal war, but want us to intervene in Darfur. Sudan didn't attack us. Wasn't that one of the arguements about Iraq?
They don't like GITMO, even though they know NOTHING ABOUT THE PLACE, but expect us not to kill terrorists but put them on trial.
They want us to send aid to Tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, manmade and natural disasters and then speak of us like dogs.
The important thing is that we do the RIGHT thing. Even though the world condemns us, we must still do what we can for the world. Isolationism is NOT an option in this global economy and warfight.
The best we can do is just let France whine....
