It may not be okay to end your lif e but it is your choice and on a spiritual level it is just an experience. It has been my experience that people who want to end their life are not selfish like it is commonly believed or taking the easy way out but they are just so bleak and depressed that nothing matters and anything like death even if it isn't an answer would be a slight reprieve to what they are feeling. Never tell someone who is suicidal that they are being selfish because that has no meaning to them and that would make them feel even worse.I am not saying that I condone suicide but I just want to put some understanding out there since I have been there myself and have worked very hard to want to live.

Suicide is not an option in my view. I went through times when I lost all what I thought was most valuable for me. I felt for weeks that there is no way out, ever. I was desperate to the point that I even felt that God had forgotten about me. But there was a solution and help there in the end and I feel very good again after a time of utter hopelesness. So if you feel deeply down, still you will find a way out! Never ever ever ever give up! Even if it seems as if there is only darkness. If the darkness is the deepest God`s help is the nearest. Or after rain follows sunshine. And search for help in such a situation. Talk to a counsellor or ring a suicide prevention line.

Unless your like in a human vegetable state i'd say no.
Suicide is not a good way to end depression. Life is only a short life time, death is forever, once your dead it's game over.
There is always an alternative to end "the pain", always. You just have to be willing to get the help, willing to share the problems with other people so they can help you.
Killing yourself is selfish, ya know there is dying children on the other side of the world every 30 seconds because they can't eat?

Suicide is NOT the answer. Alot of us get really down at times but that does not mean that things will stay this way. Think of all the people who would be really hurt if you were to do that. I know at times things can seem very bleak but you hang in there and keep your chin up OK? Things WILL get better.
Depression is a medical condition and if you are feeling this low that you want to take your life then get in to see the doctor. You may need some medication to get your through or someone just to talk to.
If you are feeling suicidal now then call this number 1-800-SUICIDE, that is 1-800-784-2433. If you want someone to talk to then call this one 1-800-273-TALK, that is 1-800-273-8255 .
I have added some sites below for information but you call the doctor and please take good care of yourself.

I highly recommend it for lawyers, politicians and child molesters.
All others should hang in there, because most suicidal thoughts are due to a chemical imbalance. Change everything about your diet, right now. Take a warm shower and eat some fruit. then sit down and make a list of all the reasons it would be wrong to kill yourself.

Unlike most people, I don't have a problem with it from a religious point of view. People never truly die. But still, life doesn't exist just to be thrown away, what point does that serve? Life really is very beautiful and worth living for.
I think that when 99% of people want to kill themselves, they only really need help. They just can't deal with some emotional pain. Is it loving to allow such a person to take their own life? If we are truly loving people, we will help those who need it. And yes, for that tiny remainder who have no emotional problems but have "extenuating circumstances", like horrible pain...yes, we should help them, too.
PS...if this relates to your other philosophy question, you ought to go read my answer to that, too.

Unless it is for the relief of physical pain, we cannot fault the person. But to just merely kill one self because life is not good is nothing more than being cowardly. Others have struggled with the same problems and have survived. They were better people for it.

Well, life is definitely hard to endure. But remember, not only for you, but for everyone else as well. If everyone turns to suicide as a cure, then there'll be no one alive in this world (which might be a good thing afterall as there won't be any wars, crimes etc). But NO, I don't support suicide. Always believe that there's always something (how minor it is) that is worth living for. Hope will keep us going.

I don't know where it came from, Sometimes I also want to commit suicide. but then I cancel it.
Most of the time I fell life Are beautiful, especially after we finish our problem, hard time, etc.
Some people are dying or suffering out there but they still struggle. just like Stepen Hawking, or even Lance Armstrong (a cycler who diagnosed cancer).
I guess it is not Fair for me if I just give up to my problem, and commit suicide, this is the reason I think properly before I done anything stupid.
