can a police department get your home address using your cell phone number?

No on mine. I do not have a contract - just a pay as you go. So there is no record of my address at all.

They can trace your number to you, and find out your info from your cell phone provider if they wanted to.

and i'm not saying that because it makes sense that they can. i'm telling you, they can.
they'd have to want to though, they don't just have a special, unblockable caller id thing i don't think but with little effort, it can happen.
