Help !!!!!!!!!!!! just got a stainless steel hob and it doesn;t look too good after cleaning it - anyone know the best way to clean the hob to leave it looking streak free and shiny.

baby oil and a very dry cloth. Rub around in circular motions and you will notice.
This does work i do it myself

the other two are correct you wash hob or anything stainless steel with normal cleaner then use a small amount of baby oil on kitchen roll and wipe on then a dry piece to buff up - perfect

Use a little baby oil and wipe it over, it takes away the streaks.

Ecover spray cleaner, its brilliant on windows and mirrors too. Hard to get hold of though. They do have a web site. I think it's just www.ecover.co.uk and the stuff is eco friendly too.

for all my stainless steel i use baby oil it keeps them shining and stops water stains etc

I don't know what a hob is, but if it is stainless, I would use a wax /polish
