You just have to not be so self centered that you think everything is about you. Meaning perhaps the person you were interested in may already be in a relationship, hence the non interest on their part. maybe they just got out of one, could be that they are gay, or don't date outside their race. The point is there could be other factors that led to the rejection that had nothing to do with the fabulous, cool, person you are. If it's a stranger that rebuffed the advance you definitely can't take that personal---they don't know you! When rejection happens to me I consider all those factors and know it was just God's way of protecting me from some disastrous love affair and keep on keeping on.

I withhold my tears, get a burner, get some samjang spicy bean paste and cook some dokbokgi (spicy rice cakes), bitterly swallowing the hot soup that comes with it. - From a commercial I saw...
But, seriously, I find something to do to distract myself of the person and usually wind up liking someone else.
