why do people hate everyone who gets depressed at some point, CALLING THEM EMO'S it pisses me off, emos isn't even a real thing. its just a term for a certain mind set that has been around for forever. i think that people are afraid of depression and the darker spectrum of human emotions, if u have an PRODUCTIVE answer please tell me.

It's depressing to be around someone who is depressed. That's just a fact of nature. A depressed person needs someone who cares enough to endure that unhappy time in order to spend it with them. Then they are not so alone, and so less depressed. It's a duty a close friend or relative owes, but people don't really like duty, do they? So if you know someone who's very emotional, whether you call them "an emo" or not, you tend to back off because you know they need more than you want to give.

And of course that backing off depresses them further.

That's one of the reasons depression is such a downward spiral. You get to where the only way you can crawl out of the hole is with someone to give you a hand. Problem is, you've alienated most everyone who might want to give you a hand, leaving it to the professionals, paid for by your insurance company.

That's pretty depressing, too, isn't it?

The solution, you see, seems to be to create a sub-culture of "emo" who will effectively pledge to hang together through the bad times, making them somewhat more bareable. Makes sense if you think about it long enough.

i do no longer probable hate emo.. however the way (some) human beings keep on with it.. i propose.. like, they think of that emos are sooo cool. And, consequently they could be emo. And that emos cut back and bleed and very nearly all of 'em call themselves as "emo princesses and princes" and fill those loose layouts with emo-ish subject concerns.. ---yet,take notice: i like the emo form.
