god they work great..my son was sick a lot as a new baby for some reason...always seemed like he had a cold...and i kept a humidifier right next to his crib at night..his nose would stop running and his cough would calm down...they have this frog one at babies r us works great...i even added some vapor medicine to the water the doctor told me to do it but ask your doctor first like i did before adding the vapor medicine to your little one...but for my son they are great..jus be careful if u live in frigid conditions...it opens a babies chest and if u take your little one out into the cold they could get really sick...so when using a humidifier keep your little one indoors for a couple days...good luck mom

Yes but make sure you use a cool mist humidifier and not one of the steam ones since the steam ones can burn her. Also it is a bit cheap but the pedicare gentle vapor plug ins work really well for me. It opened up my little girls nasal passages enough that I didn't have to worry about her breathing most of the night. It is like putting Vick's or Mentholatum on her chest or nose. Most baby's can't handle the vapors of that on next to their faces because they are so strong and it can also cause rashes if you use the gooey stuff so the plug in is a better alternative.

If money is no object, I would absolutely say that a cruise is the best vacation! Pick a place that you really want to visit -- like Alaska -- and sign up for a week long cruise. All those kids will get to be on their own and the parents will get to relax and everyone will have a fantastic time! You can spend as much or as little time together as you want and you can meet new people if you choose to. You can see beautiful sights and relax as well. What a great vacation!

Poor little sweetheart!Yes they can be very helpfull. you can also try giving her a warm shower, the steam will help clear her nose, or you can buy nasal sprays to clear their noses, either medicated or one called fess which is just saline. Watch her temp carefully, thats the main thing. the worse sholud pass in 24-48 hrs if not take her to the doctor, watch for ear infections after a cold because of the nasal congestion, Give her lots of water. and tepid baths to keep her cool and comfortable, hope she feels better soon!xx

yes, they do. Make sure to clean regularly, though, so it doesn't become a bacterial cesspool.
