Well, the y2k bug was a massive hoax perpetuated by the computer, media, and publishing industries that did nothing but sell hype to a freaked-out public, and had absolutely no science to back it up. Climate change is something that is being studied intensely by an international group of independent scientists - not to mention that humans can actually feel and witness the changes right now. So gee, I'd have to say that y2k is dumber. If you don't think that climate change is real, you must live somewhere that generally has the same temperature year round. In my midwestern city, we didn't have snow until about two weeks ago. I've lived in this city for 30 years and this was the first year that there was no snow for the entire first 2 months of winter. It was 70 degrees in November and December. That's not dumb, and you can't call someone a sucker for being smart enough to realize that things done changed...

The Y2K bug would have been an issue if nobody did anything about it, but programmers knew it enough in advance. "Climate Change" is difficult to determine, but I feel there is some validity to the matter.

Climate change. Computers are much easier to understand than the environment (but many still got Y2K wrong).
Global warming may be true, but to this point its pure religion. If Al Gore is right its by sheer dumb luck. (And I do mean DUMB).
