Asia is a continent. We've never had a war with the whole continent. We did fight, officially and unofficially, with Japan, Korea, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Philippines (Spain, actually, since they controlled the Philippines at that time). As for which one of those you are actually asking about, I can only guess.

In World War II we fought alongside the Chinese to force the Japanese out of China.
Just a few years later the Chinese supported the North Koreans in the spread of Communism, a stalemate which remains today.
