hey that's easy.
due to pollution the harmful gasses get trapped in the ozone layer and thats what causes global warming , greenhouse effect etc. so people should stop felling trees in order to bring more rain and stop soil erosion, they should not pollute the rivers as this will cause problem to everyone including them, they should not use wood as furniture and should prevent using automobiles.

Wherever you are is your environment. If it's altered, then you'll have another environment. So any attempt to "save" your our environment would destroy it. If you're talking about ridding the Earth of pollution, then the question would be asking how we can "save" the pollution, because that's the environment we live in now.

Recycling is garbage. More pollution is created by recycling than what it reduces (think of all the trucks that have to go around & pick up the recycling bins & all the greenhouse gasses they emit). Picking up roadside trash will make the roads look prettier, and more likely for people to drive on them... again, polluting the air. The best thing to do would be to plant trees and plants.

Think of not only ourselves and the easiest way to do things.

Solar Powered generators taking up only 10% of Nevada is enough power year round for the entire USA.

Those big recycling trucks, make shorter routes and run them on AC equipped motors utilizing LiPo or NiMh batteries.

Tax breaks for vehicles old and new that get 30+ mpg.
Gigantic Tax breaks for people that run Bio Diesel, Electric cars, and Ride their bikes for their main transportation (yes, dumb but novel).

Carpool more.

Change the way our Youth thinks, what they think is cool, is going to be the changing of our future.

Less processed foods, more natural foods.
Less trash made.
Pickup 20 items of litter a day
Bigger fines for litering and bigger enforcement.
Same with Speeding
Severely tax Gross Polluters.

Make small vehicles more easily accessable safely to people. Electric scooters witht heir own little path away from big cars. Electric cars that scoot about at 20-25mph away from big cars.

Recreation Vehicles (i hate to say it) need to be taxed, the scary thing is 2 strokes are the dirtiest of the little internal combustion engines, Radio controlled Cars (hobby grade) these are very popular, time to start phasing out to new technology.

Everything we need to do is in front of us, most people don't like the processes needed to do it.

Crush glass and add it asphalt to reduce burning fossile fuels for road work. This one will work because, you are explaining your actions all the way through, I threw this ans. quickly to my G/F in College, she was the only one to get an "A" on the paper because, she had and answer at the end of her paper, and did'nt try to say "Brainy" things with a general statement like "by re-cycling" as an answer, man was I pissed.

Duh, common sense.

Actually, it depends on what particular aspects or part of the environment you wanna save.

Think, think, think.
