I don't know about you, but I miss the really old but good Disney features, cartoons and such. Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Wonderful World of Color, the Vault, Zorro(remember Zorro? He was awesome!), I used to watch those shows all the time. Now that Disney has basically turned their back on those types of shows and features, i think it would be cool if they came up with a channel, much like Toon Disney, that played only the classic stuff, like black and white cartoons, the original Mickey Mouse Club, and everything else that doesn't get played anymore. Or do they have one that I don't know about?

What do you think about this idea? Do you agree with me, or do you think that we should stick with the new stuff?

Oh, wow! I definitely agree with you! I remember those shows. As a young girl I didn't care too much for Zorro, but I loved all the other shows. Duck Tales, Chip 'n' Dale: Rescue Rangers, Talespin, My Little Pony Tales (you probably didn't care for that one), Donald's Quack Attack, Mickey's Mouse Tracks, etc. I especially loved Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears. In fact, I've downloaded the entire season and have began uploading the videos onto Yahoo!

Here's the link to my videos if you or anyone else would like to watch Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears...

You can download many of these old cartoon series on torrent websites like Demonoid, the Pirate Bay, TorrentSpy, etc. http://www.torrentscan.com works great because it searches all the different torrent sites.

But it would be great if they brought back the olf Disney Channel. Even the shows that I didn't care for back then I miss. Honestly, I can hardly stand the Disney Channel these days. I only watch it when I'm with my little sister who loves it. I wish she could grow up with the Disney Channel we grew up with!

I AGREE!!! The new stuff is mostly garbage with the exception of a few things. I like Gargoyles but that is quite a few years old itself. It's really sad that kids today miss out of the classics like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cartoons. I loved Ducktales too! Then they expect all of these kids to beg their parents to take them to Disney World and they probably have never even seen a classic Mickey or Donald cartoon. Let's not forget all of the "baby boomers" out there that grew up on Zorro, Davy Crockett, or The Swamp Fox. My Dad would watch that stuff all of the time if it were on and I'm sure he's not the only one. The Disney Channel used to be so good when it first came out and the stuff on there now....needless to say it's pretty sad! :(

For KitKat....The show is TaleSpin. :)

Some of the stuff you mentioned are actually still played on the Disney channel, at least in overseas ones.

But yes, maybe a 'classic' channel should exist, though we sure have gone quite far that 80's shows and movies have become classics.

Maybe an MGM channel style would be quite nice.

I was born in 1962! Yes, I proud of it. But anyhow, I grew up watching the The Wonderful World of Disney. It was on every Sunday night. Those would be considered to be the oldies. They had Nature specials as well as made for T.V. movies and a few cartoon ones along the way. But given the mass marketing that companies run on now, don't count on your wonderful idea to happen. My son was a big fan of Baloo Bear and his lil' side kick, who flew an airplane for a delivery service. What was the name of that one?

Rusty, no offence, yet close the hell up. no person is sitting on your room forcing you to pay attention/elect to oldies. i'm greater then constructive somebody someplace desires the rap stations might fade from the air. I take place to artwork on a oldies radio station, and that i'm particularly pleased with my activity. perhaps you will desire to %. up the classifieds for as quickly as?

They should make an 80's station, or atleast a block of 80's cartoons...

DuckTales
Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers
Darkwing Duck
Muppet Babies (they own the rights to Muppets now)

etc...the list goes on and on...

I don;t see why not, except they are concerned about over-exposing themselves
