Well in the Old Testament it says abide by the rules in the land in America Polygamy is illegal. An example of marriage was Adam and Eve, one rib for one woman. Then in the new it says like that the church is God's bride. There is only one church, all the believers. So there is only one man for one woman. Marriage is something that God holds at a high standard. You can't make the vows of marriage to two different women. I'll look that up some more and give you more information.

nope. In the new testament it says the qualifications of an elder are to be a man with ONE wife. So to be an elder u can only have one. But it doesnt say you cant have more.
In the OT there are examples of holy men having more than one wife.
However I myself dont sanction it as i see it as unfair to women. I dont condemn it but I dont sanction it.

i think it becomes clear from the fact that God created 1Eve for Adam,not 2 or 3 or 4.if God thought 1 woman is enough for 1man why some people think another way?!!

I don' know about the Bible. But I do know it is illegal. Perhaps you should try living your life by what the law says and not what some best selling fairy tale says.

yeah in the new testament.. but i suspect it was a bunch of old guys that were jealous of all the guys with extra wives but yes its forbidden sorry..
