India already lost a true trusted friend Saddam. it did not condemn the hanging of Saddam.if Indian government does not succumb to the pressure tactics, it would not loose Iran. Pakistan has become a stooge country it has to follow the orders of the us.

Russia !!!! ???? !! an Old friend in need and friend in deed. The fact is Russia want to sell all of its weapons to India & China. So, it'll act more friendly with India. India need not worry with any of those. Yes India is always on ALERT and the reason is terrorism which has infected not only Pakistan but also most of the South Asian Countries. Terrorism is like a virus which cannot be eradicated completely. Modern terrorism is based on International Politics rather than any religion based. America and other European countries are playing a big role in promoting terrorism indirectly. But Russia is different (partly commercial & partly political). Thus, India have no option except to keep an eye on these rouge nations day/night.

Rightly asked...
We have not only lost a good friend but the confidence of the entire Asian Region. Also in the current scenario India is going the US way just because of its investors in the Indian Market..
The Pipeline though would get complete... Remember US would have an eye on it

Countries don't have friends, just interests.
I believe the pipeline will be fine.
Why won't Iran sell to India?
You can't ignore countries close the the US as customers.
They usually are richer.
