Every 2 days i hear the news bout women being molested... recently at chuchgate[MUMBAI], during new yrs.. a women being surrounded by mob of pple but no cop to help... n thn again in the train whn women travel late in the nite due to work.. how r they safe in a country wher men r so sex driven... its really vry disappointing to knw whn cops thmselves rape women n gals n jst get away wth it... 2day i get sacred to step out of ma house late in the nite even if its urgent...
how do we ensure our protection n safety,,, wht measures shld we tk to knw tht we r safe in ths country...

Well girls in India are really unsecured in terms of physical security. Though I still feel that girls are more safe in paces like Mumbai and Pune than North India. Being from north India I have seen the drastic difference in the security issues of girls here in Pune and North. The condition over there is pathetic. Coming back to the point, girls must be taught measures of self defence like karate(though a difficult task to achieve), they must carry with them pepper spray, which is somewhat safe.
Government must beef up police presence and there should be female constables as well. Government should also make strong and tough decisions while handling cases such as rapes and molestation, so that people have a sense of fear. Though to eradicate the problem one must work at the grass root level i.e. imbibe moral values and strong interpersonal ethics, which is again a difficult feat to achieve.

The United States is not a democracy; it is a democratic republic. If you do not understand what that means, do a little research. No black has ever been the presidential candidate of the major parties. If your point is that only blacks will vote for a black candidate, then a black will most likely never be president because blacks only comprise about 20% of the population of the United States. If a black is ever elected president then that would tend to prove that the United States is a democracy. A democracy allows for the concept of one person, one vote, with the majority prevailing. I do not understand what you mean when you say: India does not like Sonyia Ganhi as there (sp?) leader. If Ganhi was elected by the citizens of India then the premise of your statement is obviously false.

Self service. Women should ensure personal safety. Ladies know how to be safe. But in case of bad luch, none can help. Ladies should wear normal dress. I am aged 51 yrs. When a 15+ girl goes to school in skirt, she invites all bad eyes. Bad eyes can make bad. If sikh girl is in suit, less chances of bad eyes.

by eduating from very nursery to all beings that they to have sis and moms who gave birth to them who are working and moving in late hrs.if one realises the importance and relation he might or well be afraid of his deeds which he is committing on others that may in turn be repeated on himself oneday.

You'll be safe if you stay at home with somebody you can trust. Dont go out, wear modest dress, dont be too sexy in the public. May be, cover your face. Avoid doing things that can lead to sexual harrassment.
