rob and the doc are paying dawn to have the baby so they can have it when its born but i was just wondering when the baby is born and she changes her mind could she keep the baby even though she has signed the contract and would of had alot of money off them?

This is something I've been wondering as well. I think legally she would keep her baby if she wanted to because what Rob and the Doc have done must be illegal. Almost like buying the baby.
That Doc is a nutter and the way she's encouraged Rob to start up the affair with Dawn is going to backfire on her. Big time. Personally I can't wait because I think she's a sick woman.

yes she could keep the baby despite having taken money during the pregnancy. Coronation Street did the same story when Tracy was pregnant and 'sold' Amy to Hayley and Roy. When she changed her mind, the law was on her side, since it is illegal to buy and sell children, the rights of the birth mother are always considered the only rights unless and until a child is legally adopted. A mother who puts her child up for adoption legally can at any time change her mind and reclaim the child until the papers are formally signed and sealed

What they are doing is completely illegal and i think its all a tad too far fetched and not very convincing now. What i cant believe is why noone has told the authorities ? Also has anyone noticed that for the eastend of London noone swears ? and Noone has a washing machine ? and ecer since Pauline died the laundrette has been closed ? Lots of dirty clothes in Albert Square !!!

To be honest I dont think she does as it is illegal in this country to "buy" a baby, even in surrogacy you can only pay expenses, and the mother doesn't have to give baby up! so legally she can keep the baby no matter how much they have paid, but we'll see what they do as it is TV afterall!!! LOL

I think she could keep it because its illegal to have someone have a baby for you in exchange for money. Shes the babys mother so its up to her what happens to it.

as quickly as you sign a settlement its to previous due plus taking money off them will make it harder if she modifies her strategies its a stupid tale line besides as though ud permit your significant different sleep along with her just to maintain her from aborting the infant i no some human beings would do something for a splash one yet isnt that going to some distance
