I have a favorite word for a certain thing and everyone thinks it's so funny. I'm wondering how many people actualy know what it is. What is a coonding?

Great word .... 2 points for creativity! The word coonding doesn't exist -- at least, not in the English language. You can check by doing a search.
Now, if pressed, I would define it as a cross between a raccoon and a dingbat, which doesn't make much sense given that dingbat it a printing term. So, how about a dingy/ditzy raccoon?
By the way, it would make a terrific pejorative word: The best insults and swear words incorporate the k, sh, and f sounds!
