I have to help my girlfriend with a sociology presentation. How do I record a video on youtube and be able to edit it in adobe premiere pro 1.5. So basically how do I save it as an avi file?

When you download a video from YouTube, it will be in *.flv format. To download YouTube videos, you can use a software called YouTube movie downloader. After downloading you need a player to play those files. Use FLV player to play it and to convert FLV format to AVI, use Xilisoft FLV converter.

u can download youtube videos as flash video ( .flv)
go to www.videodownloader.net and download videos from youtube and then ull need to convert it to avi or any other format using a software and then u can start editing using adobe
