i''ve been across the US border a few times...but not they say people are going to have to carry passport wether walking or driving across the border....is this a maybe or are they really going to enforce...if u have any links that would be nice...tnxs

The below link is to the U.S State Department web page that discusses the new Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative. Looks like the requirement to show a passport will be enforced after 1 JAN 2008.

That should be the least of your worries... have you checked out information on the NAFTA Super Highway yet?!?!?!?!?! OMG!!! A highway from Canada through the U.S. to Mexico, making us all one big happy family, (country)!
