How many of you think you get enough help around the house from your partner/husband? And do you consider housekeeping/child rearing an easy job with lots of positive recognition from your other half? Lastly, do you have a start and finish time for your job as "Chief cook and bottle washer and child rearer and housekeeper" each day?

If your partner/husband is out earning the money to run the house then that IS his job. Meaning your job is to raise the kids and take care of the household. A good husband will recognize the demanding and all consuming job of a housewife, and help her feel validated. When a man is smart enough to do this, his woman will usually bend over backward to make him happy. There is a saying "a woman's work is NEVER done" and I will leave you with that for the last part of your question.
I also want to say Thank you for being a stay at home mom and seeing the value in sacrificing monetary reward for the priceless reward of a healthy happy secure family!

Well you don't know the entire situation, she could have been saying that she was tired of caring for him when in fact maybe mom wanted her son back and got custody and this woman had no choice but to send him back. We really don't know the entire situation.

That is why I am the boss.
Husbands no good in the house so he has to work fulltime while I work 24 hr week.
I send him on all the errands.
I create a chore list and make him enforce the teens to do their work.

I homeschool my youngest icd 8 yo.

I decide how the house is ran.

And when I stand my ground I am hated by teens but respected by my husband who is there forever.

I am rewarded by my childrens progress in life,
by my well behaved dog and a clean home.
