For one thing the media tries to brainwash everybody by telling them gay people are born that way, they're not. There's alot of different reasons why a person chooses that life style. If you read the bible in Romans 1 you'll see that God did not make them like that. It's just a sad life style that doesn't make any sense. Most people today are just so scared thery're going to offend somebody that they won't stand up for what's right only what's popular, most people would probably accept someone wanting to marry a horse or a dog if the majority of people and the media said it was acceptable.I used to work for a doctor and he said there's no medical evidence they're born that way,if everybody would stop telling them that maybe some of them would get counselling. When I was younger I thought I was attracted to the same sex and it turned out to be a deep seeded emotional wound.

There is no cause. Its just like men have attraction to women and vise versa. Its what turns them on. Some men just are not attracted to the opposite sex like intended so they are attracted to other men, and the same with women attracted to women.

We are not born homo or hetro despite the claims.
We have basic needs and develop according to rewards and consequences. Sometime in their life their mind felt rewarded by the same sex in a way that brought them to this place in their lives. For some it was the abuse of a father.
It is the same system that causes a man to rape his mother and kill his father. Except in this case it was usually a dominant mother figure.
The boy found his attraction to his mother and acted with the animal part of his brain to get the immediate reward.
Dogs can be found mating with same sex as well.
They seek an immediate pleasure.
Sex is wholly learned and sometimes as early as a baby can move.
Baby boy finds genitals and he discovers certain likable feelings with that discovery.
That feeling continues.
However we all want babies and Marriage is what is mostly taught.
A good way to truely understand this is to study different cultures on the human relationship.

I asked my gay landlord & he didn't know. I asked my lesbian aunt & she didn't know. I thought about asking here & changed my mind. The only thing I could think of was it sounds better than male homosexual or female homosexual & it distinguishes a difference between the genders for reference. Maybe someone here will know. Good luck.

It is most likely a mental disorder. Drawing from pure logic, we, as a species, are not meant to breed with the same sex, so, obviously, it is not natural, as those who say it is genetic would like to believe.

I don't think anyone really knows but some scientific research has suggested it's something you're born with.
