Bizarrely enough, the answer is Larry Bird.
Whilst during their careers, Jordan & Magic had a greater influence... just, Bird has had a major impact on an NBA club - the Indiana Pacers... the success that franchise has had over the seven years can be attributed to Bird.
Jordan tried to do the same with Washington, and it wasn't until he left that the Wizards started to win.
So, as far as "impact overall", I'd say Bird (even tho' I'm a Lakers fan!).

Jordan was a fundamental player. He is the best out of these, but he didnt change the game. Magic brought creativity and a lot of never before seen plays into the NBA. Magic was the most influencial.

I believe it will be Jordan with a very close 2nd to my favorite player...The Magic Man! I just think that Jordan was too much of a ball hog...Magic could have had his stats if he shot that much too..Magic was a better overall player, while Jordan was a better scorer, Magic was a better passer and rebounder.

Magic Johnson by far to me. He change the way the game was played. Before him there was no one over 6' 8" who cuold handle the ball for real and now we have Lebon moving like a point guard.
That is because of Magic

Jordan. After the bulls won so many titles, many people stopped watching the NBA. Viewership is still down, even years later.

jordan had the biggest influence on the game of basketball during his time. (i've seen so many " the next jordan" its ridiculous)
magic had the biggest influence outside of the game b/c of the hiv virus...(it probably would've been even bigger had he not survived it)
