We will leave Iraq open for terrorists and agreesive force like Iran, Taliban... thousands people will die as a result! It seems like we made a deal with Satan to deliver the Iraqis to the devils in exchange of the return of our young men. It also means that while we are happy with our loved ones, everywhere in Iraq, people is hopeless and panic. It is just like the "Good Samaritan" in the bible,we leave the wounded man without doing to help him!

I was taught God helps those who help themselves. I see no effort by the Iraqi government to improve it's security...they have had over three years now and it is only getting worse.

You made the link about us being the 'good samaritan' in the Bible, leaving the wounded man without doing anything to help him. The problem in this case is that we are the ones that wounded the man in the first place. It should be against your beliefs to go into a war that could cause hardship on so many levels. The terrorist groups were not occupants of Iraq in nearly as large of scale as they are now. We are creating a new Iraq, an extremist breeding ground. We have already killed more than 300,000 innocent Iraqis in the war, and lost 3,000 of our own. I believe you need to re-think what you believe. You should be thinking more about it being sinful to go into Iraq in the first place.

Not at all! the bible has nothing to with this war! the war is a simple matter of concluding an age old feud between the Bush/ halliburton people and Saddam? Saudi is a big reason for this war, and no one sees that at all and don't forget Kuwait! Saddam was not going to invade Israel or America but he was going back into Kuwait? The israel thing is a diversion. That is Iran's mission and I believe the covert activities include Bush in those as well! they are evil and that is the only way it has anything to do with the bible, Look up Lucifer you will see the pictures of all those world leaders? The seven beasts and the Great Whore ride em cowboys! eh?

The thought that our leaving Iraq would make things worse seems ridiculous. Thousands of people are losing their lives now because we are there. The sectarian violence increased when word got out we were sending more troops.

We can not force our type of democracy on people who do not want it & do not understand it. The great sin here is the lies the Bush Admin told to get Congress to approve the invasion, by us, into a foreign country. It's all coming out now in the Scooter Libby trial. How they manipulated the intelligence to get us there. Watch CNN or Hardball with Chris Matthews on MSNBC. It's all so unbelievable (and scarey) to think VP Cheney wasinvolved. He & Bush should be brought up on treasons charges against the American people. That's the great sin of the century.

It is really nothing like the "Good Samaritan". Did the Samaritan "wound" the person he went to help first?

Would there be domestic terrorism in Iraq if we hadn't invaded? There was no Al-Qaida before we invaded and removed Saddam, he wouldn't allow any terrorists to live or train in his country, and Osama bin Laden didn't even care for Saddam because Hussein was taking Iraq in a secular (non-religious) direction.

All political debates aside, what makes more sense? Sticking around trying to force a way of life on people who don't want it and depleting money and resources from our own people, or accepting that fact that they don't want the life we live and leave before we hurt ourselves even more?

There is only so much you can do, sure you can try to help the wounded man the best you can, but if he is hurt in a way that you don't know how to fix or don't have proper tools to fix, what else can you do? What good does sticking around do?

who said that we are leaving? No one is leaving, there is just conflict amongst ourselves, which is normal. I think if we had gone to war for the right reasons then there would not be as much argueing between the 2 sides.

War, in itself, is a sin. Would you not agree? In times like this, it may be better to go with logic over any religious beliefs. It's what works for me.
