It is simple.
125%=125/100
Just multiply 160 by the inverse of 125/100 and u get ur answer
It is 160*100/125=128

last yr att. = (this years * 100 ) / 125
= (160 * 100 ) / 125
= 128

Let last yrs attendance = x

then:

This yrs att = Last yrs att * % increase

125% = 1.25 when written as a decimal

so:

160 = x * 1.25

therefore:

160 / 1.25 = x

and:

x = 128
