What is the best fast food Mexican Restaurant in America? I've only eaten at Taco Bell and Del Taco and they're both decent fast food restaurants but I'm interested in checking out the other fast food restaurants that makes tacos and Mexican food?

I have been loving Chipotle lately. Have you one of those in your area? It is a little more upscale fast food, moreso than Taco Bell and Del Taco (which I just had for the 1st time in Vegas last year).

Fresh Mex is more of a semi-fast food! But, they're head and shoulders better than the Taco Bells or Del Tacos.

If it has counter service, no waitresses and it has a drive thru then it's a fast food restaurant. But if you are avoiding fast food because you are trying to lose weight then eating a burrito isn't going to help you at all. Regardless of the type of restaurant you order it from. A burrito is nothing but a fat bomb on a tortilla. The flour tortilla isn't even good for you.

For me, "fast food Mexican restaurant" is an oxymoron - any Mexican food that's not decently prepared/cooked is not real Mexican food. Taco Bell, for instance, is anything but real Mexican food.
