So for the past week or so ive been having this really, i wouldnt say its really painful...but it hurts enough to be noticed, pain in my chest...like the bottom of my rib cage right above my stomache...the way it would feel if you were working out for a long time & your muscles were all sore...it feels worse when i lay on my side at night so ive been sleeping on my back...its not my tummy at all..just my ribs?...i was just wondering if anyone else has felt anything simular to this or if its normal..& if there is anything you know of that could help with the soreness...if possible

:)

Not to worry it's just your baby moving around because it's getting a little to tight for him or her to move like they could a few months ago.

Well, as much as it hurts the best thing I can tell you until you talk to your doctor about it is when it starts to hurt again just rub on it slowly and it might help you and your baby.

Congrats and hope the rest of the time will be a little more easy on you.

Most likely, you have gas.... Not the type where you burp or fart. But gas that has built up between the ribs. Having 3 monsters shouldnt harm you although in some cases they can cause ulcers..... your best bet would be to massage the area and walk around a bit to stretch the area out. If the problem still is still there after 30 min to an hour I would consult with your doctor just for safe measure.... but try not to worry about it in the meantime.

My daughter actually bruised my rib!

My rib was sore up until she was about a month old. Baby's just like to stretch sometimes, and if they're turned around, or sideways, that's where their feet will go, into your ribs.

If it hurts too much, take some regular old Tylenol for the pain.

You should always contact your doctor about these things. However, from my experience, it's the baby pushing up on your ribs/organs. That's why a lot of pregnant women also are short of breath. Congrats, and good luck!

I remember those pains. Sometimes my girls would get their little feet far up and it would just kill. I think everything is fine, and I know a lot of woman with those pains. Good luck to you and if your worried, talk to your doctor...thats what their there for.
