My goals were all typical and yet barely possible and I have met most all of them and here is the punch line. The journey and the effort seem to have been more fun and enjoyable than the destination. For some one as driven as I was, it is anticlimactic. My goal now is to find some new goals.
The happiest people seem to be the ones that have goals and are striving towards them.

My ultimate goal in life is to become the very best person I can be, and I think that isn't weighed in money, fame, or any of the shallow things that men use to escape their true selves. The hardest thing to do is to be objective about our own behavior, and when we are open to growth, we get all these opportunities to handle situations differently than we have in the past. We get to grow and to evolve to a higher level of love and compassion for ourselves as well as others. If we remain diligent about realizing our full potential, and life comes to an end with nothing but dust to dust, what have we lost? We certainly can't take anything with us, but we can leave this world just a little bit better off than it was before we came along. Old Brutus said, "The evil that men do lives after them. The good is often interred in thei bones." The true meaning of happiness is learning to live in the moment and to appreciate it for what it is. When we live our lives committed to the highest and best good of all, we can't fail, and if we are open and honest about realizing our potential, we will be lead to the place where we need to be. The universe just happens to work that way, and the ones who have put it to the test are aware of this law. To those who haven't tried it, well, you really can't say until you give it a try. People who learn to be loving and kind are much happier and more productive, and people who believe in God are never alone.

Do you realize you have an uncomplete goal???????????
Why and what do you want to achieve to be considered the best man that ever lived? You need to achieve your goal to have such a honor that history considers you the best man that ever lived.
I do have an idea for you, if you can find a way to solve Global Warming, then yes, you will go down in history. Good luck!

I had a goal to run a marathon 6 years ago. Then, after I finished that goal, I had a goal to run it better and faster, so I did it again. Then after that, I set a new goal for an even better time, and I did that. So then, I wanted to run a marathon with my husband, and cross the finish line hand in hand. Check. I decided then that I wanted to run a marathon each year for 6 years. I finished #6 last fall.
And now, I'm really tired!

Mine would have to be living a successful life, pursuing a degree to be able to have a job that I like. This way I could have everything I want, someday buy a house, a new car, take vacations. And then meeting the right person and marrying them, and begin a family. I really think that, that is what I really want to accomplish in life.
I haven't achieved it just yet, but I'm working on it. I'm currently in college and I am just letting time take it's course. I also hold my beliefs realistic. I pray to God to guide me Thur the right way to accomplish them, too.

I'd never given this much thought, until this moment, so I've hastily cobbled together this answer -
On my deathbed, I would like my last words to be "Was that it?".
Sorry, I'll try and put a little more effort in, in the future. I know what a stickler you are for detail, and quality. I'll make the effort to produce work that is actually up to your standard, from now, onwards.

99.9% self-confidence in you asking this question, I bet my life on it, you are someone who is successful, who is curious how the people who may stand far along the line behind your level would fare in life.
I don't have a personal ultimate goal right now. I had it all going downhill. But i guess it is up to me to stand up again.
