First, try to wash your face with a basic cleanser, like Johnson & Johnson's Purpose Gental Cleansing Wash.

You don't need anything fancy. In fact, none of the speciality products I have tried worked nearly as well as this. This alone makes an incredible difference in the quality and appearance of my skin.
At night, use a 2% salicylic acid gel treatment on any problem areas or zits, including your nose. Any one will do as long as it is a gel, not a cream. I typically use the one by Neutrogena because it is easiest for me to find. I have also used one by Clean and Clear and one with Biore and noticed no variations in quality.

The following steps are, in my experience, optional for "clean and shiny" skin, but I still try to do them to keep my skin looking as close to perfect as possible:
Use a basic moisturizer if you have dry skin. Johnson & Johnson's Purpose moisturizer works well.

For a more aggressive/thorough treatment, use a good peel, such as Neutrogena's Advanced Solutions Facial Peel about two times per week.

You may also use an acne-fighting exfoliator (also with salicylic acid) once a week or as needed if you notice your skin becoming flaky. Most of the people I know use and are satisfied with St. Ive's. My favorite is their Blemish Control Apricot Scrub.

But, remember, the Purpose Gentle Cleanser alone will perform miracles for most people.

We are all sweating in this weather! Moisturising in the morning is the go, dont wash your face with soap, very drying and bad for your skin, just a nice cold rinse in the morning, and take vit E brilliant for your skin. Eat lots of veggies, avoid takeaway, and your skin will sparkle. Never squeeze pimples, they only spread

Murad has amazing skin care products. Don't use Proactive- it damages skin at the cellular level causing wrinkles!!! Benzoyl peroxide is the cause of this. If you want clear skin use Murad- it is WORTH the money!!!

use coffee as a peeling. Just mix it with some cleansing gel. it makes the skin shiny and it´s cheap. But be careful: if you press too hard on your skin, it hurts!

The answer to your question is use Proactiv. It has all the necessary tools to keep your face great at all times. I have use Proactiv for 5yrs.and my face always looks fawless. My opinion is there is not a better choice for your face. Try it and you'll understand what I mean.

You have oily skin. Not sweat. Oil. Oil clogs your pores. And makes them large. Which makes your skin look ookey.
Now. For good skin....oh wait, the phone's ringing...
