To make Egg Drop soup you need some chicken stock, eggs, salt and pepper and soy sauce.
Bring the chicken stock to a boil.
Beat eggs well with salt and pepper to taste.
When the chicken stock starts to boil, reduce the heat to maintain a steady boil.
Then drop the beaten eggs into the soup in a fine steady stream until finished.
Serve immediately with soy sauce.
You could add to the soup before serving some corn and/or meats cut in small bits (chicken, crab, etc.)
Enjoy!

boil some water, add Corn Starch to thicken it and then mix an egg in a bowl and drop it into the water and corn starch. that is the way to make Fake Egg drop soup, like you get at Chinese take out places, you could also add in some frozen peas. but the Real egg drop soup is completely different. it like a custard almost, you need a steamer to make the real kind. you add water to your steamer and then in a steamer friendly bowl add several eggs mixed up and add a little salt for flavor and steam until eggs are not runny.

I get the seasoning packs in the ethnic section at the grocery. You just add water, bring it to a boil, and stir in(slowly drissil in) a well beaten egg to the boiling soup.
