Why Children die due to disseases, Poverty or Lack of basic awareness??

Worldwide, 10.5 million children under 5 will die this year, most of them from easily preventable causes. What could be the reason, Poverty of the Parents or General Awareness about the problem, where should NGOs spend more??? In Health Programs or in Awareness Programs???

Those third world style countries where alot of this is happening do not have their own strong economy to pay for medicines and food and care, so they need to rely on other countries for assistance. It is not financially in the best interest of another country to pay for all of the problems facing the third world country. This makes it a low priority on the agenda of major world powers like Britain or The US, especially when those countries have their own issues that they are worrying about more.

It is not fair, but thats how it is. Even in the US, funding for social welfare programs are being cut each year in order to fund other things.

We once Had a Teacher who told us we r poor b'se we r poor!! Poverty will always impede awareness. The Red indians, The Asante, the Thamud, the Zulu or Baganda were never poor b'se scarcity was ably dealt with. As thus they new how to do "very complex" tasks that r facing our world today. Their secret was always effective info sharing. We r primed 4 existence yet we fail the system due to greed.
However many programs NGO's will put 4ward that do not address the basic scarcity-solving Qns wont work. If lets say Awareness were the way to go then awareness of what? Available diseases and cures or Cost-effective Prevention? If Health Progs were the way to go one wld still have to look into affordability. All life systems have one rule; Survival is for the...
The only way to bend this rule is by eliminating scarcity.
My head is available for the Guilotine if of the 10.5 mil, over 90% wont be from impoverished nations. The Finance secretary (A parent) in my former University has a funny Pin-up that goes "I am so poor I can't even PAY Attention".

Children under 5 are at a huge risk. They can choke on something they thought they could swallow, fall down the steps, get hit by a car etc. They aren't aware enough is the reason. They are also more delicate then adults and tend to have a weaker immune system...

I think children are at risk because of poverty of the parents and a lack of awareness that the problem exists.....especially here in the USA. We either ignore it or we just dont care...im not sure.

Poor parents have more children knowing that some will die.
They say if I have 10 children and 6 die that leave me with 4
to look after me when I am old.

Sponsor a child can help stop it for one child and his or her brothers and sisters. By educating girls they will have less children who are more healther.
