I suspect you are referring to the emails that having been sent to people from Yahoo Headquarters advising them that they have won the lottery. Its a scam...stay away from it.

Sorry, you are not really providing enough information to answer. Are you talking about paying someone because you won a prize? Or anything else like this?
I am going to guess you are falling for a scam. What is really cool is you won't believe me because you think you are going to get a lot of money. Think about it, these scammers say you have won 1 million dollars, but need to send $3000 for fees. I would say to the lotter folks, how about you subtract 10k from my prize and just send me $990,000.
