Well....It would be alot better if you put what windows you have anyways I do xp the others are about in the same place. Vista is totally different
Go To Control Panel
Double Click on System
Click the Advance Tab at the top
Under Performance Click the setting button
Performance window will come up click the Advanced tab at the top and there it is....Hope this helps.....

That is termed "paging file", "swap", "virtual memory" and this is supposed to be managed automatically by default in a standard installation of Windows since '95.

heard of RAMDRIVE and SUBST using DOS.

but not sure which is for your case.
