I assume she is a Filipina and you an American (or Brit). If you are asking about having your wife followed, if you suspect something is wrong, you would be better off doing it yourself (assuming you are also in The Philippines - if not, ask a friend there). All too often, a PI will go to the person being surveilled and ask for more money to give a clean report back. I agree with the other answers that you are showing a lack of trust in her (which may be valid or not). Not all Filipinas are after money and not love. My girlfriend knows that I am not rich (by US standards) and has never once asked me for money. In fact, when I offered to help with her kids' expenses, she refused. She was badly mistreated by her husband, and is looking for real love, not money. Your wife may be faithful, or not. Just be careful about hiring an investigator unless you have complete trust in the agency or individual. I'm sorry to hear that you do have suspicions about your wife since it adds to the stereotype that some Filipinas want money over love.

If your wife is a filipina and you are a white guy that married a filipina because you thought that filipinas are exotic and old fashioned then you got fooled. Filipinas marry foreigners as a way to escape poverty. Not because they love them. I don't care what anybody else says. Now that we know that she don't love you we can correctly assume that she could cheat on you with somebody younger and more attractive.

I've been there and I know how the game is played. I see so many foreigners that go there and fall in love with some exotic beauty.

Bottom line is yes you probably should hire a private detective on your wife to find out what you already know she is secretly doing behind your back. Did you mean FOR your wife, or ON your wife???

In the first place, I wouldn't trust a detective to do anything, because he'd probably figure out how to make extra money from you or her.

In the second place, if you want to spy on her, keep in mind that people here have large numbers of relatives who generally live in one place. If the relatives suspect something, they will for sure get even with you.
