That have lured them here with the American Dream to get cheap labor? To over throw our Unions? To destroy our economy? To make the average man stay average so that they will never see the light of day from work and get anywhere of value? To destroy the American Dream for us and give it to the really poor so they can control them? Because they cannot BS the naturally born Americans anymore? The Big infamous Rich above the law Gods that govern over us all in Politics and Business? Why hate the Mexican? Why can't we boycott big businesses? And stop voting for the ones that are corrupting our government and inevitably going to take our rights?

I have no problem with the Mexicans, as a people I do have a problem with illegals jumping our borders, we don't know how many terrorist could have, slipped past our borders, something needs to be done now or I promise you, thats the source of the next attack on America, but this one will make 911 pale in comparison, we would all do well to put the fear of God into Washington D.C. it's time to crap, or get off the pot, for these politicians I'm tired, of politicians giving illegal aliens a free pass, and putting America at a great risk we've never been more unprotected, than we are at our borders

The kind of immigration you see from the south is very common throughout the world. Whenever you see poor areas right next to a big area, people migrate.

To add to Mexico's poverty, they have two big pushes encouraging people north:

1) Hurricanes going through flatten any ramshackle Mexican town in the path. All those people lose their stuff and they have no choice but to move on. Why not go north?

2) Rampant violent crime makes everyone think about moving, especially if they have a family to protect.

America is the land of promise, and this is just evidence of what poeple around the world really think of us. We're not alone, though. Most prosperous countries will have the same problem, and even within a country you can see people in poor provinces moving into big cities creating a "squatters" problem.

No its because Mexican economy sucks. And many also come from South America right through Mexico, so it's not just the Mexicans. Mexican gov actually in some cases help people go to US illegally.

I think it might help if big corporations set up more operations in Mexico providing more jobs down there so they don't try to come up to US. But then one will have to improve working conditions and workers' rights laws in Mexico and enforce them so their living conditions improve and not let US corporations abuse Mexican workers inside Mexico. That won't be easy since the reason our big corporations go to other countries is to save money.

It's big biz,it's restaurants, delis, construction, maintainance, etc. It's also time for Mexico to start taking care of their own people. And while most Mexicans might be nice, there are still criminals getting in across the borders with the ones looking for work. And do we need any more crime in the streets? I don't think so.

I'm in agreement with you very much, as well as with answerers Fran, Argle, and Mahal.

I do not hate the illegal immigrants of Mexico and Central America (or from anywhere else). I am anti-illegal immigrant in that I feel illegal immigration is harmful to our country, as a whole, but I am able to see things from their point of view, too; however, I mostly blame our government and the governments of their countries. I wish there were some way to fix the wrongs that cause illegal immigration, but I feel it is an almost impossible task because the causes lies with all of our governments. Yes, our government encourages illegal immigration because of being "buddies" with the businesses who want the cheap labor and those in power feel they have to cater to these business interests in order to get money for their election campaigns and also to get their votes. I have heard that American companies actively recruit illegal immigrants from within Mexico - literally post ads and signs, etc. there telling them to come for work in the USA. I wouldn't doubt that businesses in the USA even help get corrupt BPs and Immigration officials on their side and also probably organize and may even pay for "coyotes" to bring the cheap, slave labor into the country. This would not surprise me, in the least. With our government not enforcing the perfectly good immigration laws on the books, our government is turning a blind eye because it really encourages illegal immigration. This really does make me sick!

I always side with the anti-illegal immigrants here because overall, I am against illegal immigration, but I just want to say that I am not blind to the human side of this issue and that I do feel for those people who really are just coming to try to support their families and who do NOT come to just take, take, take, but I feel that the odds are against them because once they are here, they feel compelled to commit further crimes beyond being here illegally, such as working under the table or with fraudulent ID. I also do not have too much sympathy for the ones who, once here, take advantage of free social benefits that they really are not entitled to and have "anchor babies" and then start marching in the streets demanding rights and take up with the likes of Mecha and LaRaza, or whatever they are called, racist organizations that are anti-American.

Along with the illegal immigrants who are just trying to "make a better life" for themselves and their families, comes the gang members and the drug runners. This is by far the most harmful effects of our government allowing illegal immigration.

I don't know what the answer is. I am still anti-illegal immigration.

Thank you for asking this very good question.

It's anybody that employs illegals, from big business on down to mrs jones paying a guy $50 to weed her garden. If we enforce the laws on the books already, the problem will go away. Unfortunately we need to fund that enforcement, and that has been the problem in the past.

It seems clear that our own government is betraying our nation. However, the Mexican invaders really are the other half of the problem. Their Aztlan movement considers this invasion an act of conquest.

Local politicians loyal to their 'hispanic' roots are aiding the conquest. Folks like Mayor Villaigrosa of Los Angeles, Cruz Bustamante and others are consciously favoring a particular racial/ethnic group overtly seizing its own dominance in the American nation in total disregard for the American principles of equality.

Boot the invaders and the politicians enabling them.

BINGO !!!!! I wish I could have expressed it so well. I live in Texas and have traveled into Mexico many times. The Mexicans are a warm and wonderful people. Their strong family values are to be envied. The only reason they choose to come here is their economy has been devastated by our meddling.

Big Biz have moved their plants off shore. It is the small business owners that are benifiting from the "cheap" labor.

Do some research
