NO, do not have sex with a man just to keep him from liking/loving another girl. Sex is a really huge step and if you have to question whether or not you're ready, then clearly you are not! You know you're ready for sex after you have dated for a long time and are in love and you'll just know because your heart and your head will say that this is right and you can engage in the act with absolutely no regrets!
