All types of computer will not tell you that what is your fan speed. if you are using old computer. than you cannot but if you have latest where your motherboard supports the utility like Speedfan than only you can analyze the speed of your fan. Hope you understand.

This is possibly due to a fan using a 4 pin connector rather than the 3 pin connector. Without using the 3 pin connector diagnostic utilities will not detect it.

A convenience tool like that is just reading off BIOS runtime data; usually utility like that won't be able to tell you if fan speed isn't even a supported BIOS data item.

The BIOS that I have on my computer has the ability to tell you how many RPMs that your fan is spinning. I would suggest seeing if your BIOS does. Normally, you can access your BIOS by turning on your computer and pressing the DEL(delete) key when the black screen first comes on before Windows boots. You may have to search around the BIOS to find it but I bet it's there.
