I been there, it is a wounder full country, and very unique. The people there are very warm and friendly, they love tourists and they try to give you anything they have, when you go to there houses you cannot live without eating, they cook for you so much that the table is full of Delicious food. Family values are very strong! They love children. What you saw in the movie NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER is not true at all, the city of Tehran is very green and beautiful, the malls are made mostly with marble, and the floor of the houses are mainly expensive marble. It is a very exotic country with a very strong morals and ethics, something missing here in the USA...

Very nice friendly people, tho they like intrigue, who are in a fix because most of them don't have the courage to take control of their own country.
