Yes but you have to be less than 63 days from your last period or less than 8 weeks pregnant for it to be prescribed. And contrary to what you've been told...you don't HAVE to go to an "abortion clinic" to get the presecription...ANY who has a "family practice" or "internal medicine" practice or an OBGYN can prescribe this pill...it is not sold OTC like the morning after pill and it is against the law for any doctor to prescribe it for anyone who is more than 8 weeks pregnant.

ok, i'm a university student and that i did a analyze challenge in this subject remember voluntarily simply by fact it became truly bothering me simply by fact i became on the pill and that i've got Catholic ideals. the way that the aggregate pill works is that one hormone prevents ovulation and subsequently while sperm get into the uterus and the fallopian tubes there is not any longer egg to fulfill and fertilize. the 2nd hormone is a backup incase the 1st hormone fails. It prevents the tissue lining the uterus to thicken and subsequently makes the uterus uninhabitable. this suggests that if the 1st hormone fails and an egg is fertilized, the 2nd hormone will stay away from the egg from implanting and it then can not exchange right into a baby. that is going to likely be washed out with the lady's next withdrawal bleed. this suggests that in case you think that existence starts at concept then the toddler is death. yet, with the blended pill you may no longer tell while the 1st hormone fails so which you do no longer understand once you're, in a feeling, having an abortion. this is why I no longer take the pill. besides the indisputable fact that, in case you seem on the way a baby develops, this is in basic terms a team of a few hundred stem cells for the 1st 5 or so days. At this factor it has the flair to alter into something human, a baby, an arm, a liver, a coronary heart muscle. this is a team of cells that are undefined and in the event that they have been to be taken out of the womb, precisely as they're, and placed with cells of any element of a human they'd exchange into those cells and not a baby. So that is all related to the style you seem at. Technically, while the fertilized egg exists the female physique it is not a baby yet a team of stem cells. that's truly a ethical debate, no longer a medical one. No on is right, that is all approximately what makes you sleep extra acceptable at evening.

Yes, there is (besides the morning after pill, which has been mentioned several times and IS effective within 72 hours). There is an abortion pill, but some women take this thining that because it's "medicine" it's not really an abortion. It is. If you're not willing deal with the consequences of abortion or like to think you wouldn't have an abortion, this isn't for you, because you will actually pass the tiny fetus out of you. However, if you're down with the idea of abortion...yeah, there's a pill. You'll have to go to an abortion clinic to get it, though, and you'll probably be examined to make sure you're not too far along to do it, and to make sure there are no complications requiring a D&C, where they basicaly dialiate your cervix and vacuum out your uterine lining.

They have one a morning after pill. And if you already found out youre pregnant you could get one that aborts the baby... But those kind are really pricey... And think about other options niot just only abortion or terminating a pregnancy

Depends on what you mean by "pregnancy."
I'm assuming, that you are pregnant. I can't remember
what the pill is called, but in your case, you can go to
Planned Parenthood and ask for their 48 hour pill.
It's either 48 or 72 hours. Make sure to get the pill
within 3-4 days after intercourse. The pill costs about
$25 bucks.
P.S. Use protection next time ;)

Ya know, if you don't want to be pregnant, why'd you have unprotected sex? I'm for abortion if it's for medical reasons, like it's tubal and cannot be saved, or if you've been raped and get pregnant, but if you're just ignorant about not using protection, I say go through the pregnancy, then either give the baby up for adoption or keep it.

Go to any pharmacy and get the morning after pill. I forget the actual name but if say that, they will know what you want. You have up to 72 hours after unprotected sex to use it .

If you dont want a baby, dont have sex in the first place. If you get pregnant, an ADULT would take responsibility for their actions and know that their mistake should not cost an innocent life.
